The following note is being sent to the 22,894 Members of the NHL Fans’ Association.

In the past 24 hours over 200 new Members have joined the NHLFA and we’re only 100 Members short of 23,000. You can Tell a Friend about the NHLFA by using this simple form (http://www.nhlfa.com/send.asp).

Also in the last day, 27 Members have made financial contributions using PayPal totalling $1000. Thank you all for the much needed support (http://www.nhlfa.com/mvp.asp). The PayPal link is http://www.nhlfa.com/2don8.asp

We appeared on Ottawa’s NewRO and the CBC National News last night, but the CBC Radio program “As it Happens” postponed our interview.

The CBC National News has asked the NHLFA if a handful of our Members would be interested in posing a videotaped question to NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman. He will be in their studio early next week answering these questions. If you live in a Canadian city and would like to submit a question for consideration, please complete the brief form at http://www.nhlfa.com/question/ The 10 best questions will be given to the CBC, who will then contact you and make taping arrangements. Members submitting questions that are not used will NOT be contacted. If you’re interested in confronting Mr. Bettman with a question, read the invitation below from the CBC. Members in the Toronto area are also invited to be part of the studio audience. Contact Allison at the CBC directly if you want to participate as an audience member.

============================

NHLFA Members; The CBC is inviting you to be part of a special program to air next week (week of Sept 20) on the National.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman will be in our Toronto studio to answer questions submitted by the audience. If you live in Toronto you can come into the CBC to ask your question. If you live near a CBC station we’ll tape it there. We’d like questions from across the country.

We also need a studio audience in Toronto who will not be asking a question. If you’d like to be part of this audience please email me directly at Alison_Hancock@cbc.ca
