Two-thirds of hockey fans expect a work stoppage when the NHL's collective bargaining agreement expires in 2004, according to a survey by the NHL Fans' Association. The fourth annual NHLFA poll showed 63.2 per cent of respondents expect a strike or lockout. Only 18.7 per cent thought there wouldn't be a work stoppage, while the rest weren't sure.
