Hi to all 12,600 plus members – it's been a busy few months, but we're pleased to let you know that we have a newly designed Web site (http://www.nhlfa.com) for you to check out and hope it's to your liking. The best news is that we have finally been able to add secure e-commerce to The NHLFA Store making it easy to buy stuff and support the Association. We have added a whole new line of top-quality clothing which we encourage you to take a look at and, if possible make a purchase... no more cheques to worry about and the prices are listed in Canadian and U.S. dollars. NHLFA-branded clothing – a great Christmas gift.
We are continually receiving positive e-mail from members asking what you can do to help the Association – well, right now, to ensure the long term health of the NHLFA, a purchase from The Store would make a huge contribution to the ongoing success of our Association.
While we still hope to reach Gary Bettman's target of 75,000 members by January 2000, our magic number is now down to five – if everyone brings in five members, we'll be there. We're still pleased with the progress we're making on the membership side and extend thanks to all of you who have helped bring new members to the NHLFA. Keep at it, as the more people we are able to attract, the better the chance we have of being heard.
