This note is being sent to the 20,818 members of the NHL Fans' Association.
As most of you already know, there is less than one year remaining before
the expiration of the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between
the NHL and its players. This coming year will be an important time for the
NHLFA. As owners of this great game, we must have our voices heard in the
coming months.
We're preparing our annual Fan Report poll. This year we will put an
emphasis on the CBA. Please send us suggestions to include as questions in
the upcoming Fan Report before November 7.
A good article about the CBA appeared in Macleans magazine this week. If
you are not familiar with the CBA issues, this article will help give you a
fairly accurate synopsis of the state of negotiations. The article can be
